Teaching Assistant with Named Children

Salary range NJC Scale 1 £23,628-£24,012 (pro rata)

Permanent position. 30 hours per week, 38 weeks per year.

Main purpose

To provide learning support for a small number of pupils with special educational needs (SEN).

Desired experience and knowledge:
Previous experience of working in a school

NVQ Level 3

GCSE (or equivalent) English and maths at a minimum grade C

Relevant experience of directly supporting children with additional needs

Be able to work as part of a team, using initiative and building positive relationships with staff, pupils and parents

Visits to the school by prior arrangement are welcome. CVs and generic applications will not be considered.
