Ongoing initiatives

Pre-loved Uniform

We appreciate that buying the school uniform from new can be expensive especially when many of us have children that lose or damage it along the way. Although the school does have lost property, some bits are just never found.  We have a large collection of preloved uniform available for a donation, so if you ever need any please email us on the following email address: .

Your PTA is trying to improve communication between the PTA committee and parents and staff.  We have just launched the St Mary's PTA twitter account.

Please follow @StMarysPTAbeck for regular updates, information and reminders on PTA events.

Like Twitter, we also have a closed Facebook group which we would encourage you to join. Please make sure you do complete the 3 questions to join and are aware of the current password. Please speak to your reps who can give you this password. We would ask that only current parents / carers join this page to keep the information / pictures we share safe.

Match giving

Could you ask your employer to see if they offer matched giving/funding. An increasing number of companies operate a match funding scheme whereby they "match" charity fundraising and/or volunteering undertaken by their employees. These organisations set aside a "pot" of money to fund such schemes and are more than happy to support their staff in raising money for charities of their choice.

If you have donated any money to the school or volunteered any time at an event which has collected money, then your employer might be able to match your efforts!

Please contact us via email if you think you could help, especially with the Summer Fair approaching. Our email address is:

Stikins Labels

Easy2name labels

The school is also linked up with Easy2name labels. This company do great name tags, stickers, shoe labels and letter transfers. Every order placed mentioning the school name gets 20% of the order total donated back to the PTA bank account. Leaflets available from the office or telephone 01635 298326 or - don't forget to mention St Mary's Catholic Primary BR3 to ensure we get the donation. A good one to think of for the new school year over the Summer.
